Iced Coffee Recipes

From Frappes to plain ol’ iced coffee, a little chill & caffeine jolt is never a bad thing in summer – or winter if you’re strictly an iced coffee kind of person.

My favorite coffee to make iced coffee with is Classy Broads Coffee Brazilian Dark Roast. It is so smooth, low acidity, and holds it’s flavor against all the add ins that we love to put into iced coffee drinks.

TIP: Brew coffee extra strong (a couple extra tablespoons) then let hot coffee cool to room temperature before putting in the refrigerator. Otherwise, a quick cool down from hot coffee pot to fridge will make your coffee bitter. No one likes bitter coffee.

Here’s a few great recipes to try out:

Café Frappe

  • 3 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup coffee, chilled
  • 2 tbsp. simple syrup (see recipe above)
  • Whipped cream
  • Cocoa powder

Add the first four ingredients to a blender and blend until they are smooth then add whipped cream and a little cocoa powder to the top.

Iced Vanilla Caramel Coffee

  • 4 cups coffee, chilled
  • 1 cup milk
  • ? cup French Vanilla non-dairy creamer (coffee whitener like Coffee Mate)
  • ? cup caramel ice cream topping
  • 3 cups crushed ice
  • Whipped cream

Add everything to the blender apart from whipped cream – use as much of the creamer and caramel ice cream topping as you like depending on how sweet a tooth you have!  Once it is blended, pour into four glasses and add whipped cream.

Maple coffee punch

  • 8 cups hot water
  • ½ cup instant coffee
  • 2 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 cups pure maple syrup
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • Ice cubes

Bring a large pot of water to the boil then add the coffee, vanilla extract and maple syrup.

Stir then leave to cool before adding to the fridge overnight.  When you are ready to serve, add to a punch bowl with heavy (double) cream and stir.  To finish, add ice and dish up.

Mocha Coconut Iced Coffee

  • 1 cup coffee, cold
  • ½ cup coconut milk
  • 3 tbsp. chocolate syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 can full-fat coconut milk, cold
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. toasted coconut
  • Whipped cream

Add the chilled coconut milk and sugar into a bowl and beat with a hand mixer until peaks form.  Add 1-2 tbsp of chocolate syrup to the bottom of a glass, add ice cubes then pour the coffee in.  Next, add the coconut milk and sugar and stir.  Top with whipped cream and toasted coconut sprinkles.

Maple coffee punch

  • 8 cups hot water
  • ½ cup instant coffee
  • 2 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 cups pure maple syrup
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • Ice cubes

Bring a large pot of water to the boil then add the coffee, vanilla extract and maple syrup.

Stir then leave to cool before adding to the fridge overnight.  When you are ready to serve, add to a punch bowl with heavy (double) cream and stir.  To finish, add ice and dish up.
